A report from Sam Amick and Tony Jones of The Athletic said that Donovan Mitchell’s relationship with Rudy Gobert may be beyond repair.
This could lead the Utah Jazz to trade one of their all-stars. Mitchell has been linked to the New York Knicks for years and this could be their opportunity to finally get him.
He would not be cheap though. According to SNY’s Ian Begley an NBA executive said that he believes the Knicks will have to trade RJ Barrett or Mitchell Robinson along with at least two first round picks to get him.
However, if Mitchell refuses to play with Gobert, that would give the Knicks more leverage in trade talks.
