Atlanta Hawks’ All-Star point guard Trae Young recently joked that he will be a better shooter than Steph Curry. Sports analyst Skip Bayless reacted to the statement, saying Young is nowhere near Curry as a shooter or even a free-throw shooter.
“I’m not buying into Trae Young as a superstar in the NBA. I love him as a passer, I don’t love him as a shooter…There’s no way Trae Young can ever come within 5 miles of Steph Curry.”

The 21-year-old point guard is making 34.4% of his three-pointers during his short NBA career so far. Meanwhile Golden State Warriors’ star has a significantly higher stat at 43.5%.
