Chicago native Dwyane Wade appears to have slyly implied that he should be considered for the executive position waiting to be filled in the Bulls’ front office.

The former Miami Heat shooting guard, who played out a short stint in his home city, responded to Adrian Wojnarowski’s tweet stating the team is actively in search of a top exec to take full charge of basketball operations.

Wade’s pitch was as simple as it was cheeky. “I know someone,” he wrote.

Of course, the overriding expectation is that Wade will inevitably rejoin the Heat in some capacity at some point. And we can’t imagine how Heat Nation would take it if their idol left for Chicago a second time.

Update: Wade has since clarified his short statement. You could read about it here.
