Papantoniou’s next career step will be Kolossos Rhodes, as per the team’s coach Fragias demand.
Kolossos Rhodes has had a mediocre season and they want to return at the high positions they used to finish at over the last two years. As a result, they acquired Nondas Papantoniou, who was part of Peristeri B.C. last season.
Papantoniou, born in 1990, has won the gold medal at the 2008 FIBA U-18 European Championship with the Greek National team, and the silver medal at the 2009 FIBA U-19 World Championship. He has also won the silver medal at the 2010 FIBA U-20 European Championship.
He is very experienced for his age, and seems to be a powerful weapon at the hands of coach Fragias for next season’s Kolossos.
