The latest projected date of when the NBA season could be resumed is mid-June which would most likely push the start of the next season further. Los Angeles Lakers forward Jared Dudley tweeted that he wouldn’t be surprised if the following season starts on Christmas 2020.
As the 34-year-old pointed in his tweet, the NBA had a situation in the past when the season started at the end of the year due to the lockout. It should be noted that the teams played a shortened season then – teams played 66 games instead of 82.
