Brazilian legend Oscar Schmidt is the International candidate who will be inducted to the Hall of Fame.
Despite a stiff competition, the International committee voted for the Brazilian former super-star to become the newest International member of the Naismith Memorial Basketball Hall of Fame.{jathumbnail off}
Schmidt beat off the competition which features the likes of Vlade Divac, Nikos Galis, Sarunas Marciulionis and Mickey Berkowitz.
