Metta World Peace revealed he was very emotional following the tragic death of NBA legend Kobe Bryant.

The former forward of the Los Angeles Lakers was recently on the Zach Lowe Podcast where he talked about how he couldn’t control his crying after the tragic death of Bryant in a helicopter crash on January 26.

“I couldn’t control my crying because I’ve been suppressing it. It comes in waves. On the plane, I’m like, ‘What am I crying for?’ It’s something you don’t cope with. I’m not trying to make it better. I don’t want it to get better. Time heals all wounds,” World Peace said, via Chris Sims of The Indy Star.

World Peace and Bryant won the 2010 NBA championship together when the Lakers defeated the Boston Celtics.
