Chicago Bulls point guard Derrick Rose has taken part in light training as he continues his rehab from a torn ACL.
It is certainly encouraging news for Bulls fans even though coach Tom Thibodeau stressed that it was ‘light training’. Thibodeau also said that he hopes that Rose will make his return during the second half of the season.
“It’s great to see him out here,” Bulls guard Nate Robinson told the Chicago Sun-Times. “Today he did little shooting drills with us and stuff like that. For him to get closer and closer, and for the Bulls fans, it’s definitely a relief.
“Every single day he come in here way too early and he leaves late. So he’s pushing himself, and that’s good to see.”
Chicago are currently fourth in the Eastern Conference with a 14-10 record.
