The Indiana Pacers announced that Malcolm Brogdon will be out for the next few games with a torn left rectus. The injury occurred in the second quarter of Wednesday night’s game at Milwaukee.

According to Pacers’ injury report, Brogdon is listed as a week-to-week. Brogdon, 26, is vital member of Indiana’s perimeter averaging 16.3 points, 7.1 assists and 4.7 rebounds in 30.7 minutes per game this season.

Due to the ex-Bucks guard injury, both Aaron Holiday and T.J. McConnell will have to take over in the perimeter in order to help Indiana make a run in the next few games.

The Pacers are on a 38-25 record, being 5th in the Eastern Conference standings. The Pacers will face the Mavericks in Dallas tonight.
