Anthony Davis of the Los Angeles Lakers makes the case for his fellow teammate LeBron James for the MVP this season:

“You guys see when LeBron’s off the floor, how our team operates. We kind of struggle a little bit with him off the floor. And I think it’s about who is most valuable to their team. And for me, just being around it this whole season, my vote goes to LeBron,” Davis said, per Dave McMenamin of ESPN.

This season, James has been averaging 25.4 points, 7.8 boards, 1.2 steals, 0.5 blocks and 10.7 assists per game, while shooting at 49.7% from the floor.
