Derrick Rose may not play again this season, after suffering an ankle injury on Sunday, which will sideline him for the next at least two weeks.

The Detroit Pistons may sit out Rose for the rest of the season, as the team will most likely miss the playoffs. The Pistons are 11th in the East, with a 20-42 record.

The head coach of Detroit, Dwane Casey, is not sure if Rose has played his last game this season.

“We’ll just see how he feels. I wouldn’t put that in concrete … I don’t know what he would gain from it by coming back (for the last weeks). We haven’t made that decision yet,” Casey told reporters, per Rod Beard of the Detroit News.

Rose has been the best player of the Pistons this season, averaging 18.1 points, 2.4 rebounds and 5.6 assists in 50 games.
