The National Basketball Association (NBA) has no plans to postpone matches due to the spread of coronavirus around the world, Sportando says. Previously, there were some rumors that a possible NBA shutdown due to coronavirus outbreak is on the table.

According to a source, the strongest basketball league in the world has issued a report that it has consulted the Centers for Disease Control about prevention of the spread of coronavirus.

“The health and safety of our employees, teams, players and fans is paramount. We are talking to teams and consulting with specialists on coronavirus and we continue to monitor the situation closely,” the NBA report states.
