According to Shams Charania, the Minnesota Timberwolves has agreed to a contract buyout with Allen Crabbe. On January 16, the Hawks traded Crabbe to Minnesota in exchange for Jeff Teague and Treveon Graham

He was mostly a salary fill for the Timberwolves in order to get rid of Teague’s contract. Crabbe, 27, started the season in Atlanta being part of the Taurean Prince trade to Brooklyn in offseason.

The ex-Portland shooting guard dealt with a knee injury last year playing in 43 games. After returning to action this season, he averaged about 5.4 points per for Atlanta in 28 games.

He just played in 9 games for the Wolves before agreeing to the buyout. Crabbe is averaging about 38% from the three-point line in his first seven seasons in the NBA.
