In an interview with ESPN, David Beckham looked back at the time he spent in LA and the impact the late Kobe Bryant had on his life.
Beckham had nothing but kind words to say about the NBA legend, noting how motivated he was to watch Lakers games until the end because of Kobe.
Kobe and his daughter Gianna died in a helicopter crash on January 26.
"I was lucky to live in LA when the Lakers were winning championships, and I was lucky to sit there and watch Kobe."
