Latvian side Ventspils have signed Sandis Valters on a two-year deal.
He joins from LBL champions VEF Riga.
Valters, who has played in Poland and Ukraine, has been training with the Baltic Basketball League side for a month leading to his signing averaged 10 points a game with LBL champions VEF Riga in last season’s domestic league.
In 12 appearances, Valters averaged a little over nine points a contest in the Eurocup.
