Sports journalist Chris Broussard, on the TV show The Herd, expressed his thoughts on Lakers’ Anthony Davis becoming the team leader.
According to Broussard: “He’s [Anthony Davis] No. 1 in talent, but he is No. 1a or No. 2 in mentality. Right now you have LeBron as a leader an as number 1 guy, so you may not need AD to be that, but in the future they [Lakers] want to groom him to be that guy. I believe, for the rest of the season the Lakers need to be grooming AD tin the 4th quarters to be that guy that take over. You get to get him used to beating up Montrezl Harrell and Zubac and whoever they put on.”
