It goes without saying that the city of New Orleans has been loving the presence of Zion Williamson on their roster so far since he’s been active on the court.
The 19-year-old has been remarkable on the court, most recently dropping 28 points on 13/20 shooting against the Warriors, followed up by a 25-point performance on 8/18 shooting against the Lakers last night.
JJ Redick was on record saying this about the teenager: “What’s been most impressive is the level of efficiency. A lot of times with really talented players at that age, you’re going to see flashes of brilliance. He’s brought a level of brilliance and intensity every night. The consistency has just been remarkable.”
Zion has been bringing the energy the Pelicans need on the court as well as posing as a lethal lob threat, while also bringing back the old-school bully ball the NBA has long missed since the early 2000s. It’s going to be amazing watching Zion Williamson progress in the next few seasons.
