Former professional basketball player and coach in the Women’s National Basketball Association (WNBA), who is also a broadcaster for the New Orleans Pelicans of the NBA, Nancy Lieberman expressed her opinion on Lonzo Ball’s chances of winning the NBA Most Improved Player award.

According to Lieberman, Ball must be at least in the race for the title, as he improved a lot during this season.

“I have to tell you, if Lonzo Ball…is not up for Most Improved Player in the NBA this year, then apparently nobody has cable. This guy is unbelievable. They’re running pindowns and bringing him off pindowns so he can catch and shoot. It’s not just feet set now. He’s worked so hard at his craft,” Lieberman said.

The Pelicans’ point guard this season is averaging 11.8 points, 6.8 assists, 1.8 steals, compared to last season’s 9.9 points, 5.4 assists, 1.5 steals. Not much of a difference, as it looks. Is it enough for being named Most Improved Player? What do you think? Leave your thoughts in the comments section below.
