Latest update of NBA offseason market movements with a focus on Euro-players.
Nicolas Batum will continue playing in Portland, since the Trail Blazers matched the offer of Minnesota Timberwolves worth $45 million in four year. This price seems too high but Batum is a rising star so the jury won’t be out until at least the hird year of the of the deal, for a fair evaluation.
The Blazers acquired the rights to Kostas Papanikolau and Giorgios Printezis in a trade which involved other players too, with the Knicks taking back pointguard Raymond Felton and veteran center Kurt Thomas. Already teammates in Olympiacos and in the national team, the two Greek could well become so in the NBA.
Vladimir Radmanovic has signed a one year deal with the Chicago Bulls, who are also rumored to be interested in Marco Belinelli. Both are dangerous shooters, Belinelli is also a good wing defender. Their mission will be to space the floor so Derrick Rose (when healthy) could take advantage of his driving skills.
Last update regards Boris Diaw, who re-signed for two years and $9 million for the San Antonio Spurs, where Diaw will share the court with fellow countrymen Tony Parker and newly acquired Nando De Colo.
