The Detroit Pistons are looking to strength their rooster due to recent release of Reggie Jackson. The Motor city team plan to sign Derrick Walton Jr. to a 10-day contract according to Shams Charania of The Athletic reports. Derrick Walton Jr. (born April 3, 1995 in Detroit) was waived by Atlanta Hawks earlier this month (On February 6), the same day he was traded with cash for a 2022 second-round pick by the Los Angeles Clippers. Walton before joining Clippers had short sessions with the Miami Heat and Chicago Bulls as an undrafted free agent and tried some luck overseas with Kauno Žalgiris and Berlin Alba teams in Europe.
