According to an NBA source, the Knicks scouting staff has been instructed the top priority is a scoring point guard on whom to use their lottery pick.

Pelicans’ Lonzo Ball’s younger brother, point guard LaMelo Ball, is thought to be the first on the Knicks’ wish list. During his 12 NBL (Australia’s top flight) games, Ball averaged 17 points, 7.4 rebounds and 6.8 assists per game, shooting 37.7 percent from the field.

Ball signed with Creative Artist Agency and Leon Rose (who will be running the Knicks by next month) is expected to be his agent, which raises an eyebrow or even both eyebrows.
