Just one day after losing Ergin Ataman to Galatasaray MP, Besiktas have agreed terms with Cholet’s Turkish coach Erman Kunter.
According to Abdullah Sozer, the president of the club’s basketball committee, Kunter was going to extend his contract with Cholet, if they didn’t come up with an offer at the last minute. “He was going to continue in France” said Sozer. “I reached him afternoon. We talked on the phone for 6-7 times and then managed to agree on a deal.”
Erman Kunter is still in France but his agent is in İstanbul to finalize the negotiations. Kunter will sign on a 2-year contract.
On the other hand, Besiktas, who lost their main sponsor (Milangaz), are negotiating with Medicana Health Group for the upcoming season.
