Minnesota Timberwolves star Karl-Anthony Towns is expected to miss multiple games after the All-Star Break, per Jon Krawczynski of The Athletic.

Towns is dealing with a left wrist injury and his condition will be further evaluated over the All-Star Break.

“Exactly how long Karl-Anthony Towns will be out with a left wrist injury remains unknown, but it is expected that he will miss multiple games when the Wolves resume playing after the break next week.

His surprising scratch against Charlotte on Wednesday night was the latest curveball the team has had to deal with during a wild first 53 games of the season,” Krawczynski reports.

Towns has played in 35 games this season and is averaging a career-best 26.5 points and 10.8 rebounds.
