Anadolu Efes won at Bandirma, against Banvit in the second game of Turkish Beko Basketball League Playoff Semifinal Series and now the scores are level, 1:1.
The victory also means that Anadolu Efes gained the homecourt advantage now. Banvit, controlling the game during most of the match against Efes, until the end of third quarter.
However, especially Cenk Akyol who finished the game with 8 points (with two important 3-pointers) and 3 steals, stepped up with Esteban Batista. Banvit could just score ten in the last period. Despite the efforts from Serkan Erdogan, whose 4/6 3 points percentage and 20 points came in vain, visitors won 81-75.
Elias Zouros, coach of Efes, did not choose Sasha Vujacic in the match squad. The next two games, will be played in İstanbul.
