The 2012 Lithuanian Basketball League (LKL) champions will be awarded with a new style rings. For the first time the top of the ring will be circle shaped.

Jewerly makers PREMIÈRE who have been making rings for LKL champions for the past five years explained the choice of a new ring shape.

Vytautas Jonutis, the head of PREMIÈRE said that the circle symbolizes unity which is needed for Lithuanian basketball lately especially with Olympic Qualifying Tournament taking place in less than two months.

585 and 750 fineness gold, royal blue jewelry enamel and peridot was used in the making of the rings. Each ring is worth 2900 litas which is around 724 euros.
