BC Khimki coach Rimas Kurtinaitis has signed a two-year extension allowing him to lead the Russian side until the 2014/15 season.

This deal will see Kurtinaitis coach his Khimki side in next season’s Euroleague competition, following their Eurocup success on their home court over a week ago.

The Lithuanian, who took charge in March 2011 has led his side to a 15-2 record in the Russian PBL this term and they look on course for a meeting with CSKA Moscow in the playoff finals barring an upset.
