Damian Lillard is having a historic scoring run in the last six games adding to the winning collumn for the Portland Trail Blazers.

Last night, Lillard scored 51 points and added 12 assists on 17-29 shooting. He also made 9 three-pointers, becoming the first player in the NBA history to average 45 points and 10 assists over a 6-game span.

His great performances in this six-game span brought the Blazers (23-27) just 1.5 game behind the 8th seed, while the fans chanted “MVP! MVP”, when Lillard headed to the bench with 2:15 left in the win against the Jazz (107-124).

“Dame” also made 9-out-15 three pointers against Utah, becoming the first ever player in the history of the NBA that made 5+ threes in 6 straight games.
