After Pascal Siakam and Kyle Lowry, Nick Nurse will also be present in the 2020 All-Star Game as the coach of “Team Giannis”.

With last night’s win against the Pistons, the Raptors (35-14) clinched the best record in the Eastern Conference through games played on Sunday, Feb. 2 among the 14 teams with a head coach eligible for the 2020 NBA All-Star Game. The Milwaukee Bucks’ Mike Budenholzer was ineligible this season due to his last year participation in the ASG.

Nurse and his staff will coach the all-star team that captained by Milwaukee’s Giannis Antetokounmpo. Nurse is the only coach in the history of the league to win both G-League titles and an NBA championship, as he passed six years of his career in the developmental league, coaching Rio Grande Valley Vipers and the Iowa Energy.

After 5 years as an assistant coach in Toronto, he led Toronto to a 58-24 record and its first NBA championship as a rookie head coach last season.
