Damian Lillard about his performance: “It was my first career triple double. It didn’t really matter who it was against, just happy it came in a win”

Damian Lillard has had 18 games in his career where he finished with at least eight points and eight rebounds, refusing to chase that sweet, sweet statistical symmetry. But, tonight, against Russell Westbrook no less, he finally delivered that triple-double. Damian Lillard will never say it, but fans around the world have a feeling his first career triple-double is more special because it came against Russell Westbrook.

That was the 1st 30-point triple-double by a Trail Blazer since Clyde Drexler on Nov. 13, 1990.
