The Knicks lost once again, this time to the Grizzlies at MSG. The NBA match ended with a fight, leading to two ejections. The Knicks were down by 18 points late in the fourth quarter, when Knicks guard Elfrid Payton committed a hard foul on Grizzlies veteran Jae Crowder.
Payton made a very dirty foul on Jae Crowder and as a result a massive fight started.
That was a very dumb foul of Payton. The Knicks players got into the fight, including coaches — lots of pushing between the Knicks and Grizzlies.
Fans at Madison Square Garden chanted “sell the team”. Things are going really bad for NY team.
MSG could charge admission for a Crowder / Morris fight. Sadly MSG security showed more fight than the Knicks. That’s such an embarrassment for the ownership.
Marcus Morris on Jae Crowder: “He’s got a lot of female tendencies on the court, flopping and throwing his head back…he’s soft, very woman-like.”
