Newly-acquired guard Dante Exum exploded for a career-high 28 points, as the Cleveland Cavaliers’ comeback fell short against the Minnesota Timberwolves.
In just his sixth game in a Cavalier uniform, the Aussie had the best game of his career, scoring his 28 points in just 24 minutes.
Exum shot an efficient 11-13 from the field and 4-4 from three-point, also adding three rebounds and two assists.
The Cavaliers trailed by 25 points (90-65) in the third quarter before going on a 32-6 run, capped off by an Exum three-pointer to give them the 97-96 lead.
