Retired point guard Darren Collison could return to the NBA in February, according to Adrian Wojnarowski of ESPN.

Ex-NBA forward Matt Barnes, who bounced around nine different teams including the Los Angeles Lakers, details why he thinks the Lakers should sign Collison:

The 32-year-old veteran retired last June to focus on his faith and his status as one of Jehovah’s Witnesses.

During his NBA career, Collison averaged 12.5 points, 5.0 assists and 1.2 steals per game.
