“We tried it yesterday, it didn’t work. The shot clock was low. I looked at the bench I was like, welp. He got a green light to shoot this time, there’s no other option here. Four seconds on the shot clock so I was excited he made it. Winning’s fun,” Rondo said of Howard, per Los Angeles Times.

Rondo posted 14 points (on 5/12 shooting), grabbed nine boards, tallied two steals, and handed out 12 assists in the Los Angeles Lakers’ 121-96 road win over the Utah Jazz on Wednesday night.
