According to the Greek sports website Gazzetta.gr , PAOK has made an offer to NBA veteran Corey Maggette.
Maggette is the best paid player of Charlotte Bobcats and his next season contract is worth over $10 millions.
Although PAOK can not compete with that sum, or much smaller ones, it will give Maggette the chance to stay active, playing basketball and being the leader of a Euroleague club.
According to the same source, PAOK has more NBA names in their shortlist in case they don’t finalise the deal with Maggette.
The 32 year old small forward averaged 12 points and 3.6 rebounds in 67 games last season.
