Gianluca Basile is set to return to Italy as he has signed a contract with Cantu.
The former international Italian had previously spent the last six seasons abroad, playing for Barcelona. But after an injury plagued campaign last season he was released on free.
He is the fourth summer signing of the Italian finalist after Cinciarini, Parakhovski and Lighty.
No details were given regarding the deal, but there will be given once an official statement is released by the club.
