After a half of the season at home in Vilnius with Lietuvos Rytas, Simas Jasaitis returns to Turkey where he spent the 2009-2010 season. 29-year-old small forward signed a one-year deal Turk Telekom Ankara.
Jasaitis was a free agent for a large part of last season after his contract with Galatasaray expired. Lithuanian international re-joined Rytas at the beginning of 2011 and spent the remaining port of the season in Vilnius.
Rytas wanted to keep Jasaitis, however, the offer that came from Turkey was better.
During his career Jasaitis has played for such clubs as Maccabi Tel Aviv, TAU Ceramica (current Caja Laboral), Joventut.
The player is currently preparing for EuroBasket 2011 with Lithuanian national team in Druskininkai.
