The now-Boston Celtics star Kemba Walker will be facing his former team, the Charlotte Hornets, for the first time as an opponent. He is looking to the new experience though.

Walker said he really wants to beat the Hornets in his first game against them, per Chris Forsberg of NBC Sports:

“It’s coming quicker than I thought. I know it’s going to be pretty emotional. But I’m looking forward to it. I really want to beat them.”

This season, Walker is averaging 26.0 points, 5.7 rebounds and 3.7 assists per game for the Celtics.
