After casting their respective votes, Head Coaches across the British Basketball League have joined forces to establish the BBL All-British Team 2010/11. Perhaps not surprisingly, BBL Championship and BBL Trophy winners Mersey Tigers dominate the line-up by taking up four of the five spots.

Nate Reinking (Mersey Tigers)

With an already illustrious and extensive resume, the classy Nate Reinking remains one of the most unmistakable figures in British Basketball as he continues to add to his list of honours. His deadly shooting ability and composure in crunch time have been priceless for Tigers in their pursuit of a BBL treble. The veteran guard will look to finish the season with a typical flourish at the BBL Play Off Championship Final at the NIA in Birmingham on Saturday before he heads to Lithuania to help Great Britain try and achieve success at EuroBasket 2011.

Andrew Sullivan (Mersey Tigers)

There are few more decorated players in the BBL than Great Britain captain Andrew Sullivan who continues to be one of the stand-out performers wherever he plays. During what has sometimes been a turbulent year for Mersey Tigers, Sullivan has led his team superbly at both ends of the floor with impressive numbers in just about every category showcasing his all-round influence and skill-set. He is also expected to be a serious contender for the 2010-11 BBL Player Of The Year Award after being one of the leading players in the BBL Team Of The Week during the season.

Anthony Rowe (UCP Marjon Plymouth Raiders)

An absolute revelation and one of the top performers during the 2010-11 BBL season, Anthony Rowe has been superb for UCP Marjon Plymouth Raiders all year. Highlighting his fantastic productivity, Rowe has featured in the BBL Team Of The Week on numerous occasions and impressed everyone with his scoring and rebounding ability – attributes which helped his team achieve a top five finish in the BBL Championship.

Andrew Thomson (Mersey Tigers)

There is just no stopping Andy Thomson as he continues to establish himself as one of the premier big men in the BBL after another wonderful season on Merseyside. The way he has developed and imposed himself in games during the last couple of years has been a real tonic for Tigers. The former Manchester Magic forward has multiple appearances in the BBL Team Of The Week as well as a collection of winners medals to show for his stellar performances and most impressively of all, his consistency.

Tafari Toney (Mersey Tigers)

Tafari ‘Tap’ Toney has been a tower of strength in the frontcourt for Tigers all season long and will be hoping to post one more typically dominant performance in the BBL Play-Off Final on Saturday against former club One Health Sharks Sheffield. Something of a trophy magnet ever since he first took to the floor in the BBL, his all-round power in the paint, defensive capabilities and effectiveness on the glass continue to cement his place as one of the leading centers in the league.
