Patrick Beverley is optimistic about his team’s future and wants other to know that. Sean Deveney of Heavy.com reports that the Clippers’ guard told to Steph Curry that the future belongs to the Clippers.

According to Deveney, Beverley told Curry “You had the last five years. The next five years are mine,” during the Clippers win against the Warriors.

Steph reportedly laughed and in response said to Beverley “Aren’t you 31?”.

While only time will tell how the Clippers will fare in the league with the addition of Kawhi Leonard and Paul George, surely they are among the most talented teams in the NBA.

Recently, Beverley, who is famous for trash talking, told former NBA player Quentin Richardson that he is not doing that to Steph Curry. It seems the terms have changed.
