Kyle Weems of Virtus Bologna stated that he and his teammates will need an adjustment period to reach their full potential.

Here is what the American forward said in an interview with TalkBasket.net after the first loss of Virtus in the EuroCup (78-69 to Promitheas Patras):

On what went wrong in the game against the Greek team: “We had to take our time on offense and not rush too much, we had to play a lit bit cleaner. This cost us a lot, but we have to give them (Promitheas) credit, they played well.”

On whether Virtus will need some time to be at its very best: “Sure. You don’t want to play your best basketball in October or November. Our focus is to be ready in the last part of the season (in March, April, May).

We have just got Milos (Teodosic) back from injury. Everyone is still trying to figure out each other. It is a long season.

The target is to win as many games as possible, but winning the EuroCup is definitely one of our goals.”
