In a recent interview Andrei Kirilenko, the Russian NBA star revealed that the reason why he skipped the recent Eurobasket was his efforts to adopt a little girl in Russia, efforts which were successful in the end.
The little girl is just two months old and her name is Alexandra. The Kirilenko family had some troubles with Russian bureaucracy due to the fact that Andrei is registered in St. Petersburg region while his wife Masha is registered in Moscow region but in the end all obstacles were overcome and the Kirilenko family had now a new member!
