The news of Kawhi Leonard and Paul George joining the Los Angeles Clippers was arguably the biggest bombshell this offseason. It changed the NBA landscape and Patrick Beverley was so excited that he allegedly brought the news in person to LeBron James.
Brian Windhorst of ESPN told to Adrian Wojnarowski on his The Woj Pod that he heard a story that Beverley allegedly went to LeBron James’ private room at a restaurant and told him about the arrival of Kawhi and PG to the Clippers.
We may never find out whether the story is true. But surely it sounds believable and will only add more fuel to the fire between the Clippers and the Lakers who will battle for not only the best team of Los Angeles title but likely for winning the whole NBA.
