Ex-NBA guard Dwyane Wade, who spent the majority of his 16-year career playing for the Miami Heat, says forward LeBron James and guard Rajon Rondo’s leadership will be key to the Los Angeles Lakers’ success next season:

“The talent and the roster is great top to bottom. It’s just going to take some time to get it together and get the continuity together. If they get it together obviously they’re going to be a very good team. LeBron, Rondo and those guys, their veteran leadership is going to try and get that continuity together early on and try to get it together and going fast,” Wade said, per Brandon Robinson of Heavy.

This past season, James averaged 27.4 points, 8.5 rebounds and 8.3 assists per game. Rondo, meanwhile, averaged nine points, five rebounds and eight assists per contest.
