The second round games of EuroBasket 2011 will be played in Vilnius. Lithuanian capital was chosen as the host city of the second round due to a large base of hotels which will provide accommodation for 12 teams and their fans.
The games will be played in Siemens Arena the capacity of which is 11.000. Siemens Arena has already hosted plenty of top class games since its opening in 2004. Vilnius is already fully prepared to host EuroBasket 2011.
Kaunas has also officially became the host city of EuroBasket 2011 after the city signed a contract with Lithuanian Basketball Federation (LKF). The second largest city in Lithuania will host all the knock-out games, including the final.
