After Team USA pulled out a close overtime victory against Turkey, Donovan Mitchell got a text from his former Utah Jazz teammate and Spain point guard Ricky Rubio that said, “Welcome to FIBA.”
Mitchell said he and his teammates need to find ways to avoid getting taken out of plays because of hard screens set by other countries, as FIBA basketball tends to be more physical in nature compared to the NBA.
