Two-time NBA champion and now-Los Angeles Lakers swingman Danny Green, who signed a two-year, $30 million deal with L.A. this summer, opened up on the importance to have a championship experience:
“I think [championship experience] is very important, especially when you have a group of young guys. In Toronto, we had a lot. This group here is a little different I think we have veterans on this roster but a lot of veterans that have not been there yet.
I think championship experience is very important when it comes to playoff runs. Those are the experiences you need to succeed in those types of situations where you don’t get nervous because you’ve been there before,” Green said.
