Giorgos Printezis stated he may retire from the Greek national team after the end of the 2019 Basketball World Cup.
Here is what the power forward of Olympiacos told the Greek radio station Sport FM:
On the Basketball World Cup: “Every big tournament is a great opportunity for the national team, but it is too early to talk about this.
We know how important it is to be in the ideal condition, especially in the knockout stage.”
On the FIBA WC Qualifiers: “It was unfair that Slovenia was eliminated from the World Cup, to be honest.”
On whether he will continue playing for the national team: “This may be my last appearance with the national team of Greece.”
