The host nation of Poland have managed to strengthen their squad with the addition of David Logan who is now a holder of a Polish passport. They were fears that the passport would not be issued on time, but things worked out for Poland in the end.
David Logan was in Poland´s plans for Eurobasket for months, but things could not be officialised as long as he had not received the Polish passport he was promised.
The President of Polish Basketball Federation, Roman Ludvichuk, was delighted and stated: ¨I want to thank the President (of Polish Republic) for making this possible by signing the documents. This addition will strengthen our team a lot.¨
