NBA super-star Dirk Nowitzki might have missed this year's Eurobasket in order to rest before yet another exhausting NBA season but he has confirmed that he will be returning to international action.
Nowitzki is so eager to return to Germany NT squad that talking Marc Stein of ESPNDallas.com he expressed his wish for Germany National Team to get a wild card for World Championship 2010 which will be held in Turkey next, from FIBA. His wishes may not come true soon of course because although Europe could get as much as two wild cards Germany will have to face the fierce competition of Russia, Lithuania and even Great Britain.
That doesn't seem to putt nowitzki off too much as he is said that he will be returning to Germany NT at some point, together with his friend Chris Kaman with whom he has come very close since they co-existed in Germany NT in Beijing Olympics in summer of 2008. An experience that Nowitzki will never forget and wants to live again in London 2012 Olympics.
