The Los Angeles Lakers have signed free agent point guard Quinn Cook to a two-year, $6 million deal. Cook spoke to the media about LeBron James’s role influencing his decision to join the Lakers.

“It played a big part because I know LeBron makes everybody better. He brings the best out of everybody & I saw that in my time in Cleveland for a little bit. He made me such a better player,” Cook said.

The 26-year-old averaged 6.9 points, 2.1 rebounds and 1.6 assists per game past season.
